Melissa was recently awarded Global Fundraiser of the Year in the Netherlands last month as a part of the International Fundraising Congress.
She had already been awarded Australian Fundraiser of the Year 2011 by the Fundraising Institute of Australia for her leadership role in securing a $25 million donation for the University of Technology, Sydney.
Melissa describes what she thinks is needed to succeed in securing major gifts from Asia based donors.
