I also sat in on Judith Nichol&#8217;s \u00a0session on Diversifying Your Donor Base.<\/p>\n<p>Some interesting insights from both included the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Most of our donors are aged 50 and higher.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Gen Xers were the first generation to put animal charities first.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Alumni from 1990 and later are not giving to their alma maters.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Millennials are the first generation to be comfortable asking their peers to donate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Who would like to attend a workshop\/webinar on generational diversity in giving?<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week I was\u00a0privileged to speak with at least one out of every 10 attendees at the AFP Congress at our booth for ConnieHubbs.com.
