Alive and Well in Vancouver I&#8217;m Afraid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chris Mooney at Discover Magazine is\u00a0optimistic, asking\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine.com\/intersection\/2011\/04\/04\/the-politics-of-nuclear-power-wheres-the-left-wing-science-denial\/\">Where\u2019s the Left Wing Science Denial?<\/a> But in fact, although there are many <a href=\"http:\/\/bravenewclimate.com\/2011\/04\/05\/measuring-our-monsters\/\">reasonable voices<\/a> (and even George Monbiot has belatedly changed his tune and is now <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/commentisfree\/2011\/apr\/05\/anti-nuclear-lobby-misled-world\">quite critical<\/a> of the anti-nuke crowd), the media is still full of knee-jerk scare pieces like <a href=\"https:\/\/qpr.ca\/blogs\/2011\/03\/26\/anti-nuclear-inflation\/\">Olson&#8217;s<\/a> in the Vancouver Courier.<br \/>\nOther anti-nuclear voices, like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/alec-baldwin\/the-big-lie-of-clean-nucl_b_844161.html?utm_source=DailyBrief&#038;utm_campaign=040411&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_content=BlogEntry&#038;utm_term=Daily%20Brief\">this<\/a> at the Huffington Post are actually somewhat more reasonable.
