Graph Explorer

A JAVA-based Graphing Utility

[Run the Applet]
Note:  This applet uses Java. It is set up to use Sun's Plug-in for Java
(and will prompt you with how to install it if you don't already have it).
Since Chrome no longer supports Java, to view it in Chrome requires also use of the
IETab plugin

Note to Students and Teachers:
This applet provides a Graphing utility which can plot cartesian and polar graphs of functions defined explicitly or implicitly and including numerical coefficients as variable parameters which can be input directly or by moving sliders. It also allows the inclusion of geometric features such as specified points, lines and circles and various ways of using its component tools to demonstrate particular math concepts have been constructed as stand-alone "mathlets".

Note to Developers: The applet linked to above was built with the  GeX component library which is intended to support the quick construction of demonstration tools for mathematics instruction.
