I suspect that WestJet and its employees will suffer huge negative consequences as a result of their unnecessary disruption of the lives of thousands of Canadians over an issue that they were able to resolve in just 24 hours of real negotiation. Neither I nor (so far as I am aware) anyone I know had our holiday travels disrupted, and yet I still feel a sense of outrage (despite having had, in my time, to make similarly disruptive decisions affecting the lives of others).
